GENERAL PRIVACY STATEMENT

For each visitor to our web page, our web server automatically recognises only the consumer's domain name, but not the e-mail address (where possible).

We collect the domain name and e-mail address (where possible) of visitors to our Web page, the e-mail addresses of those who post messages to our bulletin board, the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, the e-mail addresses of those who make postings to our chat areas, aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit, user-specific information on what pages consumers access or visit, information volunteered by the consumer, such as survey information and/or site registrations.


The information we collect is used for internal review and is then discarded, used to improve the content of our Web page, used to customise the content and/or layout of our page for each individual visitor, used to notify consumers about updates to our Web site, used by us to contact consumers for marketing and business purposes and, only with your express permission, shared with other reputable organizations to help them contact consumers for marketing and support service purposes.

With respect to cookies: We use cookies to store visitors preferences, record session information, such as items that consumers add to their shopping cart, record user-specific information on what pages users access or visit, alert visitors to new areas that we think might be of interest to them when they return to our site, customise Web page content based on visitors' browser type or other information that the visitor sends.

With respect to Ad Servers: We do not partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies.

From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice.

If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes to our Web site to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at our Web site periodically.
 

Customers may prevent their information from being used for purposes other than those for which it was originally collected by e-mailing us at the above address.
 

Upon request we provide site visitors with access to all information [including proprietary information] that we maintain about them. Consumers can access this information by e-mailing us at the above address.
 

Consumers can have any incorrect information corrected by sending us an e-mail at the above address.
 

With respect to security: We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our site.

FINANCIAL MIGRATION privacy statement

Confidential:

The information you will supply in this document is personal; and will be kept confidential by the Adviser and BritsNZ Ltd.  The information is contained in some/all of the following sections:

 

  • Fact Find

  • Investment Profile

  • UK Pension Profile

  • Personal Risk Insurance Profile

  • Mortgage Profile

  • Personal Profile

  • Investment Risk Profile

 

Purpose:

An Adviser making financial recommendations must have a reasonable basis for making that recommendation.  That means that the Adviser must conduct an appropriate investigation as to the financial goals, financial situation and particular needs of the person[s] concerned and any recommendations made must take these factors into account.

 

The only time it is appropriate to not take a full Fact Find is where the client is insistent on [and signs to that effect] that they only wish advice in a limited area, as in this case.

 

Although you are free to select products yourself, it is strongly advised that you give full and complete information to enable provision of suitable recommendations. The information will be retained by the Adviser/BritsNZ Ltd in order to provide an on-going service to you.

 

  • WARNING – if you do not provide part or all of the information requested, it may not be possible to fully assess your financial needs and objectives.  This may result in you financially committing yourself to a product that may not be appropriate to your needs and/or circumstances.

 

Storage:

The information is being collated by the Adviser/BritsNZ Ltd.  It will be held by the Adviser/BritsNZ Ltd and can be accessed at the address on the Disclosure Statement.

 

Access:

You have a right under the New Zealand Privacy Act 1993 to obtain access to and to request correction of any personal information about you that is held by the Adviser/BritsNZ Ltd
